The Value of Failure

While researching for a design project we are currently working on, I found this really cool article Accept Defeat: The Neuroscience of Screwing Up by Jonah Lehrer in Wired magazine. The piece traces how you can learn from the messiness of real failed experiments, while concentrating particularly on the work of Kevin Dunbar who is a researcher who studies how scientists study things – how they fail and succeed. Its an interesting area to explore in order to improve work processes and an article definitely worth checking out…
